I sat through this game; it was pretty tedious. Basically, Chelsea were happy for Liverpool to come at them, happy in the knowledge that they’d be able to resist the attacks, and equally sure that they would get at least one chance.

As it was, they got two, and made the most of them.

Did they park the bus? Does it matter? They won the game. The plan worked. It’s boring to watch, but they’re charged to win the game.

Until somebody can counteract it; until a way of beating that system presents itself regularly, why should Mourinho change his tactics? If he needs to win a big game, he can do . That’s all.

Best him, and make him do something different. Until then, you’ll have to deal with it.
